William Morris Golden Lily teapot cosy, in small, medium and large sizes.

This beautiful print by Morris & Co is called Golden Lily.
Featuring entwined lilies, tulips, leaves and tendrils. on heavy weight cotton fabric.
With co-ordinated lining, top tab, and thermal polyester wadding to help keep your cuppa warm.

A bit of history:

Golden Lily was first produced in 1897, designed by John Henry Dearle, an apprentice of William Morris.
Like Morris, Dearle was heavily influenced by nature and this can be seen in this lovely design.
From lowly shop assistant beginnings, under the tutelage of William Morris, Dearle rose to become Morris & Co's chief designer and was appointed Art Director of the firm following the death of William Morris.

Width:- tip of spout, to handle at widest point.

LARGE
The large cosy measures aprox 24.5cm (9 1/2") high, 33cm (13") wide, and fits a family sized 6-8 cup teapot up to 8 1/2" high, 10 1/2" wide

MEDIUM
The medium cosy measures aprox 22cm (8 3/4") high, 30.5cm (12") wide, and fits most tea-for-two sized 4-5 cup teapots up to 7 1/2" high, 9 1/2" wide.

SMALL
The small cosy measures aprox 18cm (7") high, 25.5cm (10") wide, and fits most one-person teapots, the type found in many cafes, up to 6" high, 8" wide.
