A gorgeously lavish vintage red garnet cluster bracelet made in gilt silver from the 1960s.

Red garnets became hugely popular in the Victorian era, but these pyrope garnets have been mined in the Bohemian Hills since the 16th century, and continue to be highly sought-after pieces even in modern times. A garnet item is a staple of any serious jewelry collection and this is one of the most beautiful ones I've seen.

The color is full and saturated, dark red wine with a high sheen. Each of the flowy tiers is attached to the next on the inside, with a traditional patent. The whole composition, layer after layer, flows in the air like a lush cherry cake!
