IMPORTANT NOTE!: The cane lengths listed here are measured values excluding the rubber cane tip. We give a 1/2" (inside diameter) cane tip as a gift with the cane. Attaching the tip increases the length of the cane by approximately 0.4 inches (1 cm).
Our handle is made with the sculpture casting technique. The products are different from each other in their details. These are not pressure casting.

HISTORY
These walking sticks are famous with the name of Devrek (in Turkey) where they were produced. Devrek walking stick making has a history of more than 200 years. In Devrek, walking sticks are made by hand in small workshops, adhering to the old ways. Dogwood trees are used to make walking sticks. Trees are cut in November - December and dried for 2 years. It is then thrown into the steam ovens. In this way, the trees are softened and straightened one by one by hand. After the bark is removed, they are kept for 6 months. The reason for this is to prevent it from bending and twisting after being made into a cane. The raw cranberry trees, which are completely flattened and dried in this way, are shaped and decorated by hand in the workshop. The handle is generally made of walnut wood.
