Chaos
The sun hides behind clouds of hatred and cruelty, reflecting economic injustice, war, and human rights abuses.

Artist Description

Most definitely "Chaos" is a true dramatic and ugly philosophic view expressed in my artistic genre that I call Innerism. It is a very dark day for all of us, I mean for all of humanity. It is a sad and devastating moment where the beautiful shining sun is hiding behind very dark clouds of deep human hatred and the darkness of their hearts that is spread over nearly the entire planet earth. In my opinion, I strongly believe we are all responsible for it.

Sadly, and regrettably, sometimes the atrocity of human cruelty, fueled by the economic injustice in our world, creates a big chaos resulting in the annihilation and extermination of each other, especially toward the minorities. Simply, it is horrific and terrible!

In my view, rather than anger, despair, confusion and hate, we have to understand, embrace, touch, smell, feel and respect the international political and economic subjects and problems collectively. I guess this way is better for all of us, and at the end we possibly could finally end this unfortunate, huge and unreasonable hate which has created a gap between us.

I am sure that's what even our creator, the graceful Mother Nature, wants us to know. She has tried and tried to tell us and teach us, from the very first day that she put us on this beautiful planet of ours. I deeply respect all of that, and not a kind of pandemonium and chaos, as I show in my horrific drawing!

I believe that there are many massive human rights problems. These terrible spectacles, as I said before, are unfortunately all different bloody streams from the economic injustice around the world! It is shameful and very sad, and I would like to add that we are all directly responsible for it. Everyone should know and recognize it! Again, as a humble and very simple man, I truly believe that we do not just have to talk and brag about our faith, we should act on it.

In my drawing “Chaos”, I am taking my responsibility for it as a man and as an artist. I portray everything, with my simple Rapidograph pen and very small wet brush, the realities that most definitely are very disturbing, very ugly, and painfully heart wrenching. The important center of the design is not from a photo in a journal or a picture in any magazine or newspaper, but it is from my mental image of the reality. I put it at the center to bring my tribute and respect to all those brothers and sisters who died in vain in an incredibly ugly and extremely devastating scene, the so called "Ground Zero” with its invisible people. I saw everything closely and deeply felt my eternal sadness, regret and condolences.

So, the horrific central part of my drawing is designed to bring that image home from that horrific location, with its crude reality. However, the artist's narrative should be relevant in life and of course not only here, but in any country or society. Regrettably, sometimes it could be harsh and heart-breaking. However, I may have been a bit harsh in my drawing, but I believe that an artist cannot be incompetent, insincere and dishonest toward the people with whom he has a dialogue.

Sadly, “Chaos” shows the very dark inner corners of the brain and the animalistic behaviors of men

Artistic Evaluation

The sun hides behind clouds of hatred and cruelty, reflecting economic injustice, war, and human rights abuses.
Humans are born full of life, hope, grace and love, yet at the same time they are capable of atrocities of this magnitude, with violence, aggression, and sometimes sadism toward their fellow human beings. People can easily lose their real human judgment and their sane reason, and become full of hatred, prejudice, violence, racism and narcissism in a blink of an eye, forgetting the realm of wisdom, love, compassion, life, and the entire beauty, grace and kindness within the vast and eternal universe. The artist sees all people as responsible for this state of the world. He recalls the horror of Ground Zero, using his pen and brush to portray devastation not from photographs but from mental images of truth. Though harsh, he insists honesty is an artist’s duty. The work exposes the animalistic side of humanity: prejudice, racism, narcissism, violence, and cruelty that eclipse wisdom, compassion, and love.
This is Innerism at its most unflinching. The piece does not simply portray external destruction but internal darkness — the clouds of hatred obscuring the sun of potential. Symbolically, the hidden sun embodies humanity’s latent goodness, overshadowed by greed and cruelty.
For collectors, this piece rewards sustained looking through masterful line work, symbolic density, and evolving meaning. The message is deeply moral: we cannot look away from the suffering we collectively perpetuate. It is tragic, devastating, but also necessary: a reminder that without honesty, there is no hope of transformation.

I. Composition and Structure
The artwork is arranged as a vast, layered tableau—each quadrant filled with distinct yet interconnected vignettes. At the center, the collapse of the Twin Towers anchors the composition, becoming both literal catastrophe and symbolic axis. From this nucleus, the scene expands outward: demonic forces, human torment, decaying cities, and industrial wastelands converge, suggesting that the explosion has unleashed not merely destruction, but a spiritual contagion infecting the entire world.

The symmetry is deliberate but uneasy—controlled madness. Figures on the left and right mirror one another in thematic tone but not in form, creating a rhythm of imbalance that sustains the viewer’s anxiety. Every element competes for attention, yet the eye continually returns to the massive demon rising above the ruins—a personification of chaos itself.

II. Technique and Execution
Executed in bold black ink with subtle gray washes, the piece demonstrates masterful control of tonal variation. The smoke clouds and shadows are rendered with a fluid brush that contrasts the razor-sharp pen lines used for figures, architecture, and machinery. This interplay of media evokes the tension between dissolution and structure—between what is fading and what clings to definition.

The density of imagery recalls the monumental etchings of Goya’s 'Los Caprichos' or Hieronymus Bosch’s infernal panoramas, but here, the line work is even more urgent—almost manic in its insistence. The repetition of eyes, skulls, and mechanical forms suggests an artist confronting the overload of modern existence.

III. Symbolism and Themes
Every corner of the drawing teems with symbols of moral, environmental, and spiritual collapse:
- The Devil figure looms as both puppet master and mirror—humanity’s shadow magnified.
- Oil rigs spilling rivers of sludge link the demonic to industrial greed.
- Towers collapsing and skulls mounted in ritual processions speak of civilization’s self-inflicted demise.
- Naked figures bound or dismembered evoke the exploitation of the body and spirit in a mechanized world.
- Bats, serpents, and hybrid creatures emerge from smoke, representing the subconscious unleashed by destruction.
- The repetitive presence of eyes suggests judgment, surveillance, or divine witness—a question of whether God still watches amid ruin.

IV. Innerism Interpretation
Through the lens of Innerism, this work reflects not external horror, but the collective psychic state of humankind. The outer chaos is an inner mirror—our fears, violence, lust, and power compulsion projected outward until the planet itself becomes a reflection of the diseased soul.

The collapsed towers at the center symbolize the fall of dualities—reason and faith, progress and morality—leaving behind a void filled by primal forces. The demonic is not purely evil; it is energy unrestrained by consciousness, the raw potential that, when misused, leads to annihilation.

Yet beneath the terror, one senses an undercurrent of revelation: by externalizing the nightmare, the artist compels us to confront it. The chaos becomes a purifying vision, a necessary descent before renewal.
V. Emotional and Philosophical Resonance
The piece overwhelms, intentionally so. Its visual excess mirrors the age of information, where meaning drowns in spectacle. But within that overwhelm lies a challenge: to discern moral clarity amid confusion.

There is no single villain here—humanity itself is both creator and victim of its demons. The imagery’s intensity invites reflection rather than despair. Innerism teaches that to transcend horror, one must first see it completely—and this drawing does precisely that.

Innerism is an artistic and philosophical movement that explores the invisible emotional, spiritual, and psychological dimensions beyond outward reality. It seeks to reveal the inner truth of human experience through symbolic imagery, introspection, and layered meaning rather than literal representation.
