Vintage Style Potholder, Hexagon PotHolder Double-sided Trivet from Vintage Pattern, Kitchen Decor, A Loop for Hanging - Gift for Her by AllSylviasCreations

Sat, 09 Sep 2017 13:47:47 -0400

On Vacation

Vintage style potholder

I hand-crocheted this lovely potholder from a vintage potholder pattern. I used 100% cotton thread in 3 different colors (as pictured) and I also put a loop for hanging it. I crocheted two separate pieces, crocheted them together at the outer edge, and then embellished it with a beautiful crochet trim.

The potholders that we buy today are made much thicker with a heat resistant center. I know my grandmother used hot pads like this one many times, but when removing things from the oven, she would double it over before using it. This potholder is thicker than the ones originally made from this pattern since I used a thicker thread when crocheting it, but I would use it with care when removing things from the oven the first few times until you see how it works for you. You may find that it works best when doubled over as well :)
Many people collect these for decoration in their kitchen, and they work perfectly as a trivet, too.

It measures aprox. 8 1/4" across the center not including the loop.
It is machine washable and dryable, but reshape and lay flat to dry to preserve its new look.

Thank you for checking out my crocheted potholder/trivets!

Nylon pot scrubbers - 3 Apple Blossom Pot Scrubbies

3 crocheted, multi-colored apple blossom dish scrubbers (Pictured in this listing).
Size is aprox 4 1/2 inches in diameter.

Bring a little bit of spring into your kitchen all year long with these beautiful apple blossom dish scrubbers! Not only are they bright and cheery, but these little scrubbers will make cleaning fun and a whole lot easier. These scrubbers arn't only for the kitchen; use them for almost any scrubbing that needs to be done from the kitchen to the bathroom.
They work great on iron-clad pots and pans and safe on Teflon, too.

This is my own original design. I have never encountered someone that hasn't LOVED these pot scrubbers!

They are AMAZING!
They hold up really well. I usually have the same one for months and months! They are non-abrasive, so they work well on pottery and Teflon surfaces. I make them from 100 percent nylon netting. They are twice as thick as most handmade scrubbers. This makes them sturdier and longer lasting. If they get dirty, just toss them in the top rack of your dishwasher.

I do ship this item to Canada!

Handmade Amethyst Tree Of Life necklace Copper Tree Of Life pendant February birthstone Wire tree necklace for women by ArtCopperWood

Tue, 18 Jan 2022 12:28:05 -0500

On Vacation

This beautiful Tree Of Life necklace is handmade of bare copper wire and Amethyst Chip Beads.

Tree Of Life Pendant - 1.7- 1.8 inches (4.8 cm)

FEBRUARY Birthstone Necklace

*** Each necklace is unique and may look slightly different than picture. ***
Few symbols are as universal, nourishing and powerful as the Tree of Life. It is possible my version is different from others you might see. The tree of life symbol crosses all cultures and stems back to our ancient ancestors. It represents wisdom, strength, prosperity, protection, beauty and connection to our Earth.
Copper is a balancing metal and has a healing property for body, mind and spirit. It provides a harmonic connection between the physical and astral bodies and is a great conductor of energy.
This pendant made with good intentions and love!
One of a kind, unusual and beautiful gift.
