WHY I MAKE JEWELRY I'm drawn to jewelry because it's a mix of art, design, and beautiful materials that I can actually wear--and I do love to wear jewelry. In addition, I find joy in the thinking and mechanics involved in creating jewelry. So, after many enjoyable years as a graphic designer, I've created my own jewelry collection.
MY DESIGN STYLE I think of my design style as "simply elegant". I find beauty in simplicity...a single flower, leaf, or a gemstone. My jewelry creations are straightforward so that the beauty of the individual materials are foremost. Simplicity also lends an enduring elegance to the jewelry that you and/or your gift recipient can enjoy today, and for many years to come.
WHAT I CREATE I handcraft/assemble my jewelry by using classic design principles, sturdy construction techniques, and an eye for elegance. I use semiprecious stones, vintage and antique materials, along with affordable, quality metals to create necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. It is a real joy to find and work with with the beautiful materials that go into my jewelry. And, I sincerely hope it will be a joy for you to wear or give.
