Welcome to Pat's Art Glass I have been creating and designing all my life. Twenty years ago, I learned to make stain glass panels, although a very gratifying medium that I loved; the end product just took too much time to finish. Four years I read on a glass forum about lampworking and I took my first glass bead making class. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to take classes with such Artists as Leah Fairbanks, Kristen Franzen Orr, Pam Dugger, Tink Martin, Larry Scott, Ron and Rocio Bearer, Corina Tettinger, and Dustin Tabor. The most important thing to me was learning their tips and techniques to hopefully help me grow as a lampworker in the most efficient way.
I have really become addicted to lampworking, doing it almost every day. I am a mother to four grown children and my oldest daughter does some of the designing and making of the jewelry. In fact she showed me all I know about it, except for a few magazines. Each project is time consuming making the beads, putting them into the perfect piece of jewelry, photographing them and loading them into the website.
