I grew up in Pittsburgh and began working with clay when I was about 7, and glass in high school and college. I received a BFA with a concentration in glass and ceramics from Alfred University in 2009.
I started my Etsy shop in the winter of 2010 while working as an assistant at Gilmor Glass in Millerton, NY, a production glass studio. I'd been experimenting with Christmas ornaments and wanted to sell them somewhere. I had heard of Etsy and decided to give it a shot! Since then, I've expanded to feature more than just ornaments.
I'm currently making my glass work at the Pittsburgh Glass Center, and I have a studio space in the Larimer neighborhood of Pittsburgh where I photograph and pack Etsy orders and other work.
