When I wake up in the morning, I immediately try to surround myself with as much creative energy as possible. Although I hate messes, I love making them - especially when I create. When I was young I liked to make things out of trash, and, well - that really hasn't changed all that much. I could spend hours in a craft store just imagining all the things I could make. Most of my creations are silly, but I'm hoping maybe just maybe someone else will like them too.
I do have a more serious side to my design process - it's not all chaos (just mostly.) I've been sketching for years but I'm only just now beginning to learn the ins and outs of a Singer and hope to soon be producing some stylin' diggs. My aesthetic is a little bit haute couture and a little bit 'haute' shit.
As much as I love making new things, I love to go hunting for old ones. My thrift store habit is out of this world, and I've been working in consignment for a while now. I love sharing the treasures I find with friends, so I might as well share them with Etsy! Combine all that with a real need to clear out some space in my house (for all the new finds at various thrift stores...) and I give you my strange Franken-store.
