For more than 40 years, I have traveled the world, experiencing different cultures, enjoying memorable meals, and seeking out exceptional spices for my own kitchen. Some of my greatest travel discoveries were not landmarks, but food and flavors—the aroma of freshly harvested spices, the character they brought to local food, and the people who grew and produced them.

After retiring from a career in business, I decided to turn that lifelong food interest into Authentic Origin Spices. My goal is simple: to bring you genuine, high-quality gourmet spices whose origins are known and whose quality can be trusted.

Authenticity matters to me. Like olive oil, honey and garlic, the spice trade can involve products that pass through many hands, lose their identity, or are mixed with lower-quality material. I wanted to offer something different. I travel to the regions where my spices are grown, meet the growers and producers, and learn how the spices are cultivated, harvested, processed, and prepared for market. That personal connection helps me know what I am offering and allows me to share its true origin with you.

Our flagship product is whole black peppercorns from the Đắk Lắk region in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, one of the world’s important pepper-growing regions. I personally visited the area, met people involved in growing and producing the pepper, and saw where it comes from. These are genuine, unadulterated peppercorns selected for their quality, aroma, flavor, and character.

To me, gourmet does not have to mean overpriced. Great value means receiving an exceptional product at a fair price—spices with known origins, dependable quality, and flavor worthy of your table. By focusing carefully on sourcing and offering products directly to customers, Authentic Origin Spices works to provide premium quality without an unnecessary premium price.
