Affinity Grove no empezó como una tienda de impresión. De hecho, ha experimentado una gran transformación, igual que yo.
Empezó con letreros de madera en 3D hechos a mano, cada uno elaborado a mano en las altas horas de la noche, después de que mis hijos se acostaran. Me encantaba volcar mi creatividad en algo tangible, pero después de tener a nuestro tercer hijo, el serrín, la pintura y el trabajo físico se volvieron demasiado para compaginarlos con las exigencias de la maternidad. Aun así, sabía que necesitaba una salida creativa, algo que me impulsara y se adaptara a los ritmos de la vida de mamá.
Así que me pasé al diseño digital. Lo que empezó como una forma de seguir creando se convirtió rápidamente en algo más significativo. A medida que mis hijos crecían y mi vida se volvía más ajetreada, me di cuenta del poder que podía tener un imprimible sencillo y bien diseñado, ya fuera una tabla que por fin les permitiera hacer las tareas sin problemas, o una actividad de aprendizaje que mantuviera las manitas ocupadas y las mentes en desarrollo.
Fue entonces cuando Affinity Grove encontró su verdadero propósito.
Hoy, Affinity Grove existe para ayudar a otras mamás a sentirse más en control, apoyadas e inspiradas. Creo imprimibles divertidos y prácticos: herramientas para ayudar a los niños a prosperar y facilitarles la vida a las mamás que los crían. Affinity Grove didn’t start as a printable shop. In fact, it’s been through quite the transformation—just like me.
It began with hand-lettered 3D wood signs, each one crafted by hand in the late-night hours after my kids were in bed. I loved pouring creativity into something tangible, but after having our third child, the sawdust, paint, and physical labor became too much to juggle with the demands of motherhood. Still, I knew I needed a creative outlet—something that fueled me and fit into the rhythms of mom life.
So I shifted to digital design. What started as a way to keep creating quickly grew into something more meaningful. As my kids got older and life got busier, I realized how powerful a simple, well-designed printable could be—whether it was a chart that finally got chores done without a fight, or a learning activity that kept little hands engaged and minds growing.
That’s when Affinity Grove found its true purpose.
Today, Affinity Grove exists to help other moms feel a little more in control, supported, and inspired. I create printables that are both fun and functional—tools to help kids thrive and make life smoother for the moms raising them.
