Handcrafted Stone Chess Sets & Home Decor
Welcome to Altrino Studio, where natural stone becomes something to play with, display, and pass down.
Every piece we sell begins as raw stone: green onyx, marble, and travertine, sourced in Pakistan, a country with a long tradition of stone carving. We work with skilled artisans in Karachi who cut, carve, and polish each board and chess piece by hand. A single set takes 2 to 3 days to complete, from cutting the board to shaping and finishing all 32 pieces.
Because we use natural stone, no two sets are exactly alike. The veins, colors, and patterns in your set are unique to it. That's what makes each piece feel less like a product and more like a work of art.
We believe beautiful things should also be useful. Our chess sets are made for real games, but many customers tell us they've become the centerpiece of their living room or office, and a conversation starter for guests. Alongside our chess sets, we also make stone pieces for the kitchen and home, like our marble butter keepers.
What you can expect from us:
✦ Handcrafted quality: Every piece is carved and polished by hand and inspected before it ships.
✦ Careful packaging: Stone is heavy and delicate, so each order is boxed with protective padding to arrive safely.
✦ Real support: If anything goes wrong in transit, message us and we'll make it right.
✦ Gift-ready: Many sets come with a storage box, perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, and holidays.
Thank you for supporting a small studio and the artisans behind every piece. We hope your Altrino set brings you years of games, beauty, and memories.
