¡Hola! Soy Amanda, la creadora de cada pieza de esta tienda. Soy ceramista autodidacta: empecé en 2016 con un torno en mi garaje, aprendiendo por mi cuenta con vídeos de YouTube y experimentación práctica. Tras innumerables fracasos y mucha perseverancia, lo que empezó como un hobby se convirtió en una parte esencial de mí misma. Me enamoré del proceso y, con el tiempo, se transformó en un taller y una tienda que llega a coleccionistas de todo el mundo.
La alfarería es un proceso increíblemente reconfortante para mí. Hay algo en el olor de la arcilla, en cómo se mueve entre las manos y en cómo se transforma en lo que uno imagina; es casi mágico. El mundo se desvanece y solo existes tú y la arcilla. Una experiencia que te llena de humildad y a la vez de poder.
Algunos artistas prefieren crear colecciones de piezas similares o idénticas y encuentran satisfacción en la multiplicación y la uniformidad, pero yo no. Me encanta el arte en sí, la singularidad y todas las pequeñas diferencias. No hay dos piezas idénticas por una razón. Las variaciones no son un defecto, sino la esencia misma del arte: la huella digital de algo hecho por una persona, para una persona.
Mi proceso es sencillo: utilizo cerámica torneada sin plantillas, por lo que no hay dos piezas iguales. Cada una lleva mi sello artístico, está numerada, esmaltada a mano y cocida a alta temperatura para una mayor durabilidad. Todos los esmaltes comerciales que utilizo están certificados como no tóxicos, libres de plomo y aptos para alimentos. Las piezas resultantes son aptas para lavavajillas, microondas y horno, diseñadas para disfrutarlas a diario. Creadas para todos los momentos de la vida.
Cuando no estoy al volante, trabajo a tiempo completo como gerente de restaurante en la soleada Celebration, Florida. Me encanta el océano y espero ahorrar lo suficiente para comprar un catamarán y dar la vuelta al mundo con mi esposo, buceando a diario e inspirándome en la belleza de la naturaleza. Me apasionan los negocios, escribir, dibujar y soñar. Creo cosas hermosas desde el corazón. Lo único mejor que crear cosas hermosas es compartirlas con los demás.

Hello! I'm Amanda, the creator behind every piece in this shop. I'm a self-taught potter — I started in 2016 at a wheel set up in my garage, teaching myself with YouTube videos and hands-on experimentation. Through countless failures and a large degree of stubbornness, what began as a hobby became an extension of myself. I fell in love with the process, and eventually, it grew into a studio and a shop that reaches collectors around the world.
Pottery is an incredibly grounding process for me. There's something about the smell of the clay, the way it moves in your hands, and the way it becomes what you see in your mind's eye -- it's almost magical. The world melts away, and it's just you and the clay. Humbling and powerful.
Some artists prefer to create collections of similar or identical pieces and find satisfaction in the multiplication and consistency, but not me. I love the art of it, the uniqueness, and all of the little differences. No two pieces are identical for a reason. The variations are not a flaw, but the heart of art itself — the fingerprint of a thing made by a person, for a person.
My process is simple — stoneware thrown on the wheel without templates, so no two pieces are ever alike. Each one is stamped with my artist's mark, numbered, hand-glazed, and high-fired for lasting durability. All of the commercial glazes I use are certified non-toxic, lead-free, and food-safe. The resulting pieces are dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe, and oven-safe — made to be used and loved every single day. Made for all of life's moments.
When I'm not at the wheel, I'm a full-time restaurant manager in sunny Celebration, Florida. I love the ocean and hope to save enough money to buy a catamaran and sail around the world with my husband -- scuba diving every day and finding inspiration in the beauty of the natural world. I love business, writing, drawing, and dreaming. Creating beautiful things from my heart. The only thing better than creating beautiful things is sharing them with others.
