In my family, every story starts with clothes. From my mum to my grand-mother or my aunts, fashion has always been our daily bread.
The leather boots and mini-skirts of the 1970’s worn by my grand-mother, the high-waisted jeans collected by my mum in the 1980’s… I know them all, I saw the pictures, I heard about the stories.
Most of the clothes are now far gone but from all these memories what remains is the nostalgia.
I’m a kid from the 1990’s. I grew with fashion magazines and pop culture. I watched Jean Paul Gaultier fashion shows in the news, Gucci by Tom Ford campaigns all over Paris, Cavalli jeans worn by Mediteranean women.
Finding these clothes, similar styles, pieces inspired by these eras provide me with a feeling of comfort.
