Welcome to Atelier Jing Studio
I am Jing, the maker behind every piece in this small studio. Based in Yorkshire, a region in northern England known for its wild moors and stone cottages, I create romantic, vintage inspired jewellery using two traditional techniques I love, tatted lace and wire wrapping.
My work is rooted in a fascination with European vintage aesthetics, the delicate lace of Victorian collars, the soft glow of antique gold, the quiet romance of pressed flowers and old letters. As someone who grew up between cultures, I see this beauty through a slightly different lens, and I try to bring that perspective into every piece I make.
Each bracelet, ring and necklace is tatted or wrapped entirely by hand, often over many hours. I use natural gemstones, freshwater pearls and metallic threads chosen for their colour and how they catch the light. Nothing is mass produced, and no two pieces are ever quite the same.
