My name is Inez, artist/creator and owner of BeWitchedbyColor. In my personal life I'm a, wife, mother of 4, registered nurse/educator, and green/hedge witch. My personal experiences with ADHD, anxiety, panic, mood disorder and depression have been a life long challenge, but nature has always been my best medicine. That is why I want to share nature's healing power with others through my creations. I am passionate about working with the powers of nature to create all natural handmade products. It is my medicine, and I hope it can be yours too. I create organic natural hand plant dyed fabrics, reworked apparel, raw earth & lake pigments, nature inspired mental health promotion products, and so much more!
I am excited about my new direction into the wonderful colors that the earth has to offer! I hope to capture the rainbow of color found in nature through hand dyed textiles, hand foraged and processed powdered earth pigments, and items handmade from what nature provides.
Textiles: Color variety of plant, lichen, and mushroom dyed textiles - cotton, linen, and wool - to be sold in bundles. Size of textiles vary, so please read item description. Dyed fabrics may have variations in hue and gradation, that's the uniqueness and beauty of natural dying. Every piece is special because they are one of a kind. Some specialty textiles may be sold in bigger sizes.
Pigments: Various colors, shades, and tints collected, processed, and powdered by hand. Pigments created by hand from plants (lake pigments) and mineral based materials such as stone, sand, shells, clay, and soil. Pigments will be available in 2.5g singles and 5g mix and match sets of 5. Pigments can be used for paint making, soap making, cosmetics, staining, and more. Pigments are sold as raw powder and will need to be mulled with binder of your choice for paint making.
