Nel novembre del 2016, come un modo per una giovane donna energica di guadagnare soldi per pagare uno sport che amava praticare, è nato For The Birds. Seguendo i suoi sogni di giocare a pallavolo un giorno al college e supportati dai suoi genitori Jason e Amy, i Berkley's For The Birds hanno dato il via al loro primo spettacolo in un vicino Holiday Open House, a Keedysville. Quel primo spettacolo è stato un chiaro indicatore di quanto Berkley sarebbe stata impegnata nei suoi sogni. Vendere tutto il suo inventario quel fine settimana e accettare un ordine molto grande da un'azienda aziendale senza prima controllare con i suoi genitori, ha stabilito il ritmo per gli affari quell'anno.
Nel corso degli anni, l'attività è cresciuta, così come quella bambina. Ora è una matricola al college e frequenta la Shippensburg University, dove sta continuando la sua carriera atletica come membro della squadra di pallavolo del 2022, così come la sua educazione studiando l'educazione della prima infanzia.
Stiamo ancora trasportando dolcetti artigianali per semi di uccelli, casetta per uccelli e recentemente aggiunto una mangiatoia per uccelli di girasole che completa le nostre piccole ghirlande.
Berkley ha imparato molto sul successo e sui fallimenti degli affari con Covid che colpisce. Le capacità comunicative, le lezioni di vita e le amicizie che la piccola impresa le ha portato sono inestimabili.
Berkley si impegna a continuare a gestire la sua attività come un modo per assisterla in un altro sogno: un'istruzione senza debiti. Ecco un altro anno di inseguimento dei tuoi sogni! !
In November of 2016, as a way for an energetic young lady to earn money to pay for a sport she loved to play, For The Birds was born. Following her dreams to play volleyball one day in college and supported by her parents Jason and Amy, Berkley’s For The Birds kicked off their first show at a neighbors Holiday Open House, in Keedysville. That first show was a definite indicator of just how committed to her dreams Berkley would be. Selling out of all her inventory that weekend and taking on a very large order from a Corporate Business without checking with her parents first, set the pace for business that year.
Over the years, the business has grown, and so has that little girl. Now a freshman in college and attending Shippensburg University, where she is continuing her athletic career as a member of the 2022 Volleyball team, as well as her education studying Early Childhood Education.
We are still carrying hand-crafted birdseed treats, birdhouse and recently added a Sunflower bird feeder that complements our small wreaths.
Berkley has learned much about the success and failures of business with Covid hitting. The communication skills, life lessons, and friendships that small business has brought her way are invaluable.
