Bible Born: A Dream 14 Years in the Making

Hace catorce años, tres generaciones de una familia se reunieron con un sueño compartido: combinar la creatividad y la fe para crear algo significativo. No teníamos un plan de negocios, una estrategia de marca definida ni muchos conocimientos sobre cómo fundar una empresa. Lo que sí teníamos era amor por Dios, amor mutuo y el deseo de crear algo que pudiera animar a otros en su caminar con Cristo.
En aquel entonces, dibujamos a mano nuestro primer logo y lo subimos a nuestro perfil de Facebook. La idea era sencilla pero sincera: crear una marca de estilo de vida basada en la fe. Imaginábamos un lugar donde la gente pudiera encontrar estudios bíblicos, devocionales y ropa divertida inspirada en la fe. Más allá de los productos, queríamos construir una comunidad. Un lugar donde la gente pudiera reunirse en torno a la Palabra, tal como nuestra familia se había reunido para compartir ideas, crear diseños y escribir devocionales.
Pero, como muchos sueños, el nuestro quedó en pausa.
La vida se complicó. El tiempo se volvió escaso. Y, sinceramente, el miedo también influyó. El miedo al fracaso, a no saber lo suficiente, a dudar de si realmente podríamos llevar la idea a la práctica. Así que el sueño quedó en suspenso. Pero nunca desapareció.
Durante catorce años, la idea nos acompañó. Permaneció en nuestra mente y surgió una y otra vez en las conversaciones familiares. Aparecía en reuniones, durante los almuerzos con sándwiches de mantequilla de maní y mermelada, y en los momentos de tranquilidad en el rincón del desayuno con cucharadas de miel. Nunca desapareció del todo. Simplemente esperaba el momento oportuno.
Finalmente, nos dimos cuenta de que no se trataba de un sueño fugaz ni de un recuerdo lejano. Era algo que sentíamos que debíamos hacer.
Ahora, con más experiencia, sabiduría y conocimientos tecnológicos, hemos decidido dar el salto y hacer realidad este sueño. Bible Born es mucho más que una tienda para nosotros. Es el resultado de años de oración, paciencia, creatividad y unión familiar. Es un recordatorio de que a veces Dios siembra algo en nuestro corazón mucho antes de que comprendamos del todo en qué se convertirá.
Nuestra esperanza es que Bible Born ayude a integrar a Dios en las conversaciones cotidianas. Queremos crear diseños que permitan vivir la fe con valentía y alegría. Queremos que Cristo se refleje en lo que hacemos, lo que decimos y cómo servimos. Y, sobre todo, queremos animar a otros a dar su propio salto de fe, incluso cuando el camino no esté del todo claro.

Fourteen years ago, three generations of family members sat down with a shared dream: to combine creativity and faith into something meaningful. We did not have a business plan, a polished brand strategy, or much knowledge about how to start a company. What we did have was a love for God, a love for one another, and a desire to create something that could encourage others in their walk with Christ.
Back then, we hand-drew our first logo and uploaded it to our Facebook profile. The idea was simple but heartfelt: to create a faith-based lifestyle brand. We imagined a place where people could find Bible studies, devotionals, and fun faith-inspired apparel. More than just products, we wanted to build a community. A place where people could come together around the Word, just as our family had come together to share ideas, create designs, and write devotionals.
But like many dreams, ours was put on pause.
Life got busy. Time became limited. And honestly, fear played a part too. The fear of failing, of not knowing enough, of wondering whether we could really bring the idea to life. So the dream waited. But it never disappeared.
For 14 years, the idea stayed with us. It lingered in the back of our minds and found its way into family conversations again and again. It came up at gatherings, over peanut butter and jelly lunches, and during quiet moments in the breakfast nook with spoonfuls of honey. It was never really gone. It was simply waiting for the right season.
Eventually, we realized this was not a fleeting dream or a distant memory. It was something we felt called to do.
Now, older, wiser, and more technologically equipped, we have decided to take the leap of faith and bring this dream to life. Bible Born is more than a store to us. It is the result of years of prayer, patience, creativity, and family. It is a reminder that sometimes God plants something in your heart long before you fully understand what it will become.
Our hope is that Bible Born helps bring God into everyday conversations. We want to create designs that allow faith to be worn boldly and joyfully. We want Christ to be reflected in what we make, what we say, and how we serve. Most importantly, we want to encourage others to take their own leap of faith, even when the path is not perfectly clear.
