¡Bienvenido a Blue Canary Letterpress! Déjame comenzar diciéndote por qué me encanta la tipografía. En un día en el que todo lo que podrías desear está prácticamente al alcance de tu mano, la tipografía muestra un cuidado y una calidad que no puedes imitar. Desde la increíble sensación de papel de algodón 100% en relieve profundo, hasta el aspecto hecho a mano de tintas mixtas personalizadas, se destaca de todo lo demás. Eleva tarjetas, invitaciones, tarjetas de visita y cualquier cosa que toque al nivel de las obras de arte, ¡y eso me encanta!
Comencé en Haywire Letterpress hace unos años, con un enfoque en la calidad del arte, la diversión, las tarjetas e impresiones irreverentes. Junto con dos amigos, pujamos y ganamos un Chandler & Price 10X15 Letterpress de 1921. Fue muy divertido, y rápidamente fuimos reconocidos por nuestros diseños únicos, divertidos y artísticos. Incluso aparecimos en la edición de febrero de 2015 de la sección Wide World of Craft de American Craft Magazine. Afortunadamente, mis amigos y socios en esa empresa consiguieron un increíble y merecido contrato de libro, pero eso dejó a la prensa a mi exclusivo cuidado.
Así que en enero de 2016 nació Blue Canary Letterpress. Tomando el fuerte punto de vista artístico y las fuertes sensibilidades de diseño de mi trabajo en Haywire, me propuse aplicar esos talentos a la tipografía personalizada para bodas, diseño de marca / producto y otros proyectos a pedido. Todavía encontrarás piezas "solo por diversión" en la tienda, pero mi verdadera pasión es trabajar con personas para dar vida a su visión. Me encanta crear la obra de arte que reúne a familiares y amigos en una boda, nacimiento o graduación. Con mi experiencia en administración de negocios y sin fines de lucro, también tengo un ojo para crear etiquetas, tarjetas de visita y otras piezas para ayudar a mejorar la imagen de su negocio.
Tengo un compromiso con la calidad y el servicio que va más allá de lo básico. No quiero que estés satisfecho. Quiero que seas feliz cuando tu paquete llegue de mí. Debes sentir que tienes algo especial, porque trato cada trabajo y cada pieza como su propia obra de arte, solo para ti.

Welcome to Blue Canary Letterpress! Let me start by telling you why I love letterpress. In a day when everything you could want is practically at your fingertips, letterpress shows a care and quality that you can't imitate. From the amazing feel of deep embossed 100% cotton paper, to the hand crafted look of custom mixed inks, it stands out from everything else. It raises cards, invitations, business cards, and anything it touches to the level of artwork, and I love that!
I started out at Haywire Letterpress a few years ago, with a focus on art quality, fun, irreverent cards and prints. Together with two friends, we bid on and won a 1921 Chandler & Price 10X15 Letterpress. It was great fun, and we were quickly recognized for our unique, funny, artistic designs. We were even featured in the February 2015 issue of American Craft Magazine's Wide World of Craft section. Happily, my friends and partners in that venture landed an amazing and well-deserved book deal, but that left the press in my sole care.
So in January of 2016, Blue Canary Letterpress was born. Taking the strong artistic viewpoint and strong design sensibilities from my work at Haywire, I set out to apply those talents to custom letterpress for weddings, branding/product design and other on-demand projects. You'll still find "just for fun" pieces in the shop, but my real passion is working with people to bring their vision to life. I love creating the piece of art that brings family and friends together at a wedding or birth or graduation. With my background in business and non-profit management, I also have an eye for creating labels, business cards, and other pieces to help enhance the image of your business.
I have a commitment to quality and service that goes beyond basics. I don't want you to be satisfied. I want you to be over-the-moon happy when your package arrives from me. You should feel like you got something special, because I treat every job and every piece as its own work of art, just for you.
In addition to wedding and event invitations and branding with letterpress, I offer all kinds of other printing services. Letterpress business cards are a great way to distinguish yourself from the stack of plane-jane cards in the stack. Stationery - I do that. Customized coasters - check.
