BookplateandCo

Bookplate & Co. grew from my love of old books, beautiful typography, and the women writers who created bold, unforgettable work on their own terms. I’m a high school English teacher and lifelong reader, and I wanted literary apparel that felt current enough to wear every day without losing the atmosphere that makes old books irresistible.

I’m building the shop as a modern book club with an old-library soul. Some designs use clean editorial type, contemporary collegiate layouts, and simple line art. Others lean into antique bookplates, engraving, ephemera, or a little gothic mood. Historical quotations are kept exact and carefully sourced, while original Bookplate phrases carry the same intelligent, quietly rebellious point of view.

Everything is meant to feel feminine but never precious, literary without feeling academic, and polished without losing its personality. Bookplate & Co. is for readers who keep their own counsel, write their own story, and like their classics with a modern point of view.
