In my day job as an Engineer for many years, I have always liked to take things apart, figuring out how they work, seeing if I could build it better myself.
With my woodworking hobby, I enjoyed making things from scratch, always looking for better, more efficient ways to build items that are beautiful and functional at the same time.
For many years it was just that - a hobby. Making things like wine racks and small furniture for myself and my friends.
Six years ago I had a turning point when I completed an online woodworking course called "The Weekend Woodworker" by YouTube veteran and excellent teacher, Steve Ramsey. With that I had the confidence to make commissioned items. It was no longer just a hobby.
A year ago I added a laser to my workshop, which opened up new creative possibilities to combine with my woodwork.
Although our store is new to Etsy, my wife and I have had a successful reselling store on another online platform where we have maintained a perfect feedback rating for 18 years.
That is because customer service, quality products and fast shipping is our priority.
