Estoy encantado de vivir y trabajar en el sur de California. Muchas de mis pinturas se centran en paisajes: la costa, las lagunas y las colinas de San Diego son mis temas favoritos. También disfruto componiendo pequeñas pinturas de naturaleza muerta. Recientemente he profundizado en la profundidad y vitalidad posible con las acuarelas. I am delighted to live and work in Southern California. Many of my paintings focus on landscapes - the coast, lagoons and hills of San Diego are my favorite subjects. I also enjoy composing small still life paintings. Recently I've delved into the depth and vibrancy possible with watercolors. Bright cheerful colors and a loose alla prima style define my paintings.
Over the years my family has lived in many parts of the US from the east coast to the west – and points in between. Each location influenced my painting - and in each place I painted and studied art: at The Art League of Alexandria Virginia, The Smithsonian, The Kansas City Art Institute and Watts Atelier in Encinitas, California.
In addition to larger oil paintings and watercolors, I thrive on creating mini paintings and small watercolors for seasonal gifting. Everything I create receives equal attention to detail. I believe art is for everyone and keep my prices affordable.
