¡Tengo 24 años y nací y crecí en Brooklyn! No tuve educación formal mientras crecía, y no aprendí a leer ni escribir hasta los 10 años. Esto es algo de lo que es difícil para mí hablar, pero es una gran parte de lo que soy. Mi educación fue poco convencional, por decir lo menos, y sin escuela, necesitaba algún tipo de actividad para ocupar mi mente joven. Así que aprendí a hornear en la cocina de mi madre a los 6 años. Se suponía que mis primeras creaciones eran galletas, ¡pero resultaron ser más como discos de hockey! Cuando era niño, incluso hacía mis propios libros de repostería con recetas inventadas y soñaba con tener una panadería propia algún día. Hornear se convirtió rápidamente en una de mis pasiones y después de probar varios oficios, incluyendo el arte del maquillaje, el peinado y la cocina, hornear siempre fue mi número uno. Quería hacer realidad mis sueños, así que creé mi primer logotipo cuando tenía 15 años y lancé mi sitio web en julio de 2020. Con mucho trabajo duro y dedicación, mis habilidades mejoraron cada vez más y quería compartir mis productos horneados con el mundo. ¡Ver cómo la gente sonreía e iluminaba por algo que creé hace que mi día y me haga la persona más feliz del mundo!
Utilizo los mejores ingredientes posibles y todo está horneado con mucho amor y cuidado. Si te quitas una cosa después de escuchar mi historia, es que no importa qué obstáculos se interpongan en tu camino, si tienes una pasión o un sueño, síguelo. te llevará a la felicidad.
Así que eso es más o menos todo por ahora. Solo quiero decir, gracias a todos por ser tan solidarios y amables conmigo. ¡Me encanta hornear para todos ustedes y estoy emocionado por lo que depara el futuro!
Hello, I'm Chana :)
I'm 24 years old and I was born and raised in Brooklyn! I had no formal education growing up, and I didn't learn how to read or write until age 10. This is something that is difficult for me to talk about, but its a big part of who I am. My upbringing was unconventional, to say the least, and without school, I needed some kind of activity to occupy my young mind. So I taught myself how to bake in my mothers kitchen at age 6. My first creations were supposed to be cookies, but turned out to be more like hockey pucks! As a child, I would even make my own baking books with made up recipes and dreamed of having a bakery of my own someday. Baking quickly became a passion of mine and after trying out several trades, including make up artistry, hair styling, and cooking, baking was always my number one. I wanted to make my dreams a reality, so I created my first logo when I was 15 years old and launched my website July 2020. With a lot of hard work and dedication, my skills got better and better and I wanted to share my baked goods with the world. Seeing how people would smile and light up from something I created makes my day and makes me the happiest person in the world!
I use the best ingredients possible and it's all baked with a lot of love and care. If you take one thing away after hearing my story, it is that no matter what obstacles stand in your way, if you have a passion or a dream, follow it. it will lead you to happiness.
