Changan Moment is a curation of timeless Chinese craftsmanship — from flowing hanfu robes to poetic silk accessories, each piece is handmade and rooted in centuries-old tradition.
This journey began long before I became a curator.
As a little girl growing up in China, I would drape my mother’s bedsheets around myself, pretending I was a swordswoman from the wuxia novels I secretly read under the covers at night. I wasn't just dressing up — I was trying to become those graceful, fierce, free women in silk robes, moving through misty mountains and moonlit temples.
Now, as the founder of Changan Moment and a creative based in the United States, I bring those childhood dreams into reality — one outfit at a time.
At Changan Moment, every garment is carefully selected from independent artisans and studios across China. We work with makers who still practice traditional techniques such as hand embroidery, plant dyeing, and jacquard weaving — ensuring each piece holds the spirit of craftsmanship and quiet beauty.
We believe slow fashion is soul fashion. That handcraft tells stories machines never can. And that wearing culture is a form of remembering — and reimagining.
