Mi nombre es Elaine Oliveira y soy una fabricante de joyas autodidacta y todo lo demás detrás de Cherry Raspberry. Cuando me mudé a Irlanda, lo tomé como una oportunidad para obtener nuevas perspectivas, fomentar el crecimiento personal y aportar una perspectiva renovada a mi vida y campo de estudio artístico. Viviendo en Irlanda me descubrí a mí mismo que me fascina la naturaleza, la jardinería, el arte artesanal y las plantas de interior, especialmente las hojas por sus patrones y diferentes formas. Día a día estoy aprendiendo nuevas técnicas y mejorando mis habilidades, el viaje es largo y hay mucho que aprender.
Mis materiales favoritos para crear joyas son las hojas secas y ocasionalmente las flores secas dándoles una nueva vida con una pizca de toque tropical. Es decir que los diseños de Cherry Raspberry son una mezcla exótica de la naturaleza de Irlanda y el amor brasileño por el color y la vitalidad.
La mayoría de las hojas y flores están seleccionadas de mis plantas de interior y mi pequeño jardín que convierto en joyería de arte con cuidado y respeto por la naturaleza. Me dedico a establecer un arte sostenible con un impacto ambiental mínimo. A veces, recojo las hojas caídas durante el otoño en parques, bosques y el campo. Limpio, seco y preparo las hojas y cada pieza de joyería está hecha en un lote pequeño, único y de temporada con un toque personal y creativo.

My name is Elaine Oliveira and I am a self-taught jewellery maker and everything else behind Cherry Raspberry. When I moved to Ireland I took it as a chance to gain new perspectives, encourage personal growth, and bring a refreshed outlook to my life and artistic field of study. Living in Ireland I discovered myself that I am fascinated about nature, gardening, handcrafted art and indoor plants, especially leaves for their patterns and different shapes. Day by day I am learning new techniques and improving my skills, the journey is long and there is a lot to learn.
My favourite materials to create jewellery are dried leaves and occasionally dried flowers giving them a new life with a pinch of tropical twist. It is to say that Cherry Raspberry's designs are an exotic mix of nature from Ireland and Brazilian love for colour and vibrancy.
Most of the leaves and flowers are selected from my indoor plants and my little garden that I turn into art jewellery with care and respect for nature. I am devoted to establishing a sustainable art with a minimal environmental impact. Sometimes, I collect the fallen leaves during autumn in parks, forest and the countryside. I clean, dry and prepare the leaves and each piece of jewellery is made in a small, unique and seasonal lot with a personal, creative touch.
I like to think that Cherry Raspberry Jewellery is a special piece of art for all nature lovers and plant ladies like me!
