Quizás se pregunte cómo se me ocurrió el nombre de mi empresa. Solía instalar una exposición de antigüedades en mi área dos veces al año. Con un clima impredecible en el noreste de Ohio, compré una enorme carpa rosa que sobresalía como un pulgar dolorido, ¡pero mis clientes se acordaron de mí!
En un espectáculo tomé una gran exhibición de deslumbrantes bisutería y la exhibí en bustos de maniquíes. Un sábado demasiado soleado, el sol hizo una declaración. Brillaba intensamente a través de la parte superior rosa de mi tienda y las joyas simplemente deslumbraban. En algún momento, dos chicas entraron a mi tienda, se detuvieron y dijeron "GUAU, The Chick Shak", ¡el resto es historia! De eso hace casi 15 años.
Ya no asisto a espectáculos después de sufrir un accidente automovilístico que me frenó, pero me encanta entretenerme con la bisutería. Fácil de empacar, fácil de transportar y puedo hacer feliz a la gente.
Tengo una gran cantidad de joyas hermosas y de vez en cuando decido revisarlas y ofrecer algunas a la venta. Nunca sé de qué decidiré separarme, así que asegúrate de marcar mi página como favorita y volver a consultarla con frecuencia.
You may wonder, how I came up with my business name. I use to set up at antique show in my area that was twice a year. With unpredictable weather in NE Ohio, I purchased a huge pink tent that stuck out like a sore thumb, but my customers remembered me!
At one show I took a large display of glitzy costume jewelry and had it displayed on mannequin busts. One overly sunny Saturday, the sun made a statement. It was shining brightly through my pink tent top and the jewelry was just dazzling away. At some point two girls walked into my tent, stopped and said "WOW, The Chick Shak", the rest is history! That's been almost 15 years ago.
I don't set up at shows any longer after being in a car accident which slowed me down, but I love to dilly-dally in costume jewelry. Easy to pack, easy to carry, and I can make people happy.
