Somos muy afortunados de vivir en una zona que abunda en artefactos cristianos, ya que se encuentra en la Ruta del Peregrino que atraviesa Europa y hasta Las Tierras Santas.
Durante muchos siglos, los peregrinos han herido su camino a través de aquí y también en el camino de regreso. Eso ha significado que muchos artículos cristianos se han recolectado aquí. Además estamos cerca de Lourdes y Notre Dame de Garaison donde tuvieron lugar dos de las apariciones de La Virgen María. Lourdes es mundialmente famosa, Garaison no es así.
Me convertí en un cristiano comprometido hace solo unos años y cuando mi esposa Diane estableció su tienda de Etsy, LaCassoulere, quería establecer un sitio específicamente para artículos cristianos para cristianos de todo el mundo. Hablo inglés, por supuesto como soy inglés, alemán porque viví allí durante muchos años y francés porque vivo aquí.
Selecciono cuidadosamente las cosas que tengo en el sitio para reflejar la amplia gama de artículos disponibles.
Si hay algo que no esté aquí que te guste, por favor házmelo saber y trataré de encontrarlo para ti. Muchos de los medallones, rosarios y cruces han estado en Lourdes, ya sea porque comenzaron su vida allí en uno de los muchos talleres artesanales o porque lo he llevado allí en uno de mis frecuentes viajes.
Me esfuerzo mucho por describir y fotografiar cada elemento con la mayor precisión posible y me encanta hacer la investigación para descubrir, cuando sea posible, la historia de la pieza porque creo que la historia es casi tan importante e interesante como el artículo en sí.

We are very fortunate to live in an area that abounds with Christian artifacts as it lies on the Pilgrim Route that runs through Europe and on to The Holy Lands.
For many centuries pilgrims have wound their way through here and also on the way back. That has meant that many Christian items have collected here. In addition we are close to Lourdes and Notre Dame de Garaison where two of the appearnces of The Virgin Mary took place. Lourdes is world famous, Garaison not so.
I became a committed Christian just a few years ago and when my wife Diane set up her Etsy shop, LaCassoulere, I wanted to set up a site specifically for Christian items for Christians throughout the world. I speak English, of course as I am an Englishman, German because I lived there for many years and French because I live here.
I carefully select the things I have on the site to reflect the wide range of items available.
Should there be anything that is not here that you might like please let me know and I will try to find it for you. Many of the medallion, rosaries and crosses have been to Lourdes, either because they started life there in one of the many artisan workshops or because I have taken it there on one of my frequent trips.
I try very hard to describe and photograph every item as accurately as possible and love doing the research to discover, where possible, the history of the piece because I think the story is almost as important and interesting as the article itself.
