Siempre me ha encantado contar los acontecimientos de la vida, pero la cuenta regresiva para la quimioterapia comenzó cuando a mi buena amiga Kay le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama triple negativo hace casi 20 años. Le hice una cadena de cuenta regresiva para marcar los días que le quedaban de tratamiento. Le encantó y aún conserva todas las citas bíblicas y motivadoras de sus días de tratamiento. Con los años, desafortunadamente, he hecho muchas más cuentas regresivas para la quimioterapia, pero cada familiar y amigo me ha dicho lo mucho que significó para ellos y los ha animado durante el tratamiento. ¡Me alegra informar que Kay está feliz y saludable, viviendo su mejor vida en Florida!

I've always loved counting down life's events but the Chemo Countdown started when my good friend Kay was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer almost 20 years ago. I made her a chemo countdown chain to mark the number of days left of her treatment. She loved it so much and still has all the motivational and biblical quotes from her days of going through treatment. Over the years I have made many more chemo countdowns unfortunately but each family member and friend has told me how much it meant for them and encouraged them during treatment. I am happy to report the Kay is happy and healthy living her best life in Florida!
