Anteriormente trabajé durante años con plata y cristales austriacos para hacer joyas. Siempre me gustó prestar atención a los detalles. Pedía muchos componentes y accesorios, pero nada me impresionaba tanto como los cristales austriacos. Brillaban desde cualquier ángulo desde el que los miraras y siempre los consideraba el punto focal de mis piezas. Cada vez que dejaba caer una piedra diminuta en la vasta extensión de azulejos, me balanceaba de un lado a otro lentamente y centelleaba. Sabía que todo en mi trabajo tenía que complementar el brillo y el color de estos hermosos cristales. Sabía que tendría que estar a la altura de su brillantez y su excelente calidad en mis creaciones.

Siempre me ha gustado tener una gran variedad de colores. Quería ser lo más flexible posible, así que sabía que tendría que tener mi propia paleta de colores para ofrecer. Después de muchos años de mezclar pinturas y arcilla, descubrí que al hacer mis propios colores, podía ofrecer la mejor gama de opciones. Decidí no ofrecer una pequeña selección de piedras de colores, sino ofrecer una variedad infinita de colores en las arcillas que uso, lo que ha hecho que la experiencia de personalización sea mucho más emocionante para todos.

Al experimentar con diferentes formas de arte, descubrí que me encantaba el papel gofrado y la cartulina de colores. Me enamoré de otra artesanía. Sabía que tenía que incorporar un hermoso papel festoneado y gofrado y mi amor por el papel de regalo fino a mi trabajo.

I previously was working with silver and Austrian crystals for years making jewellery. I always loved to pay attention to detail. I would order many components and findings but nothing impressed me like Austrian Crystals. They sparkled from any angle you looked at them and they were always what I considered the focus point of my pieces. Whenever I dropped a teeny tiny stone on the vast expanse of tiles; I would just rock from side-to-side slowly and it would twinkle at me. I knew that everything in my work had to compliment the sparkle and color of these beautiful crystals. It was their brilliance and excellent quality that I knew I would have to live up to in my creations.

I have always loved a large variety of colors. I wanted to be as flexible as possible so I knew that I would have to have my own palette of colors that I would offer. After many years of mixing paints and clay, I found that through making my own colors, I was able to offer the best range of options. I decided not to offer a small selection of colored stones, but to offer an endless variety of colors in the clays I use which has made the customizing experience much more exciting for everyone.

In experimenting with different forms of art, I found I absolutely loved embossed paper and colorful cardstock. I found myself falling in love with another craft. I knew I had to incorporate beautiful scalloped and embossed paper and my love of fine gift wrap into my work.
