Ciao.

Mi chiamo Mathew e vivo nel nord-ovest dell'Arkansas. Di giorno lavoro come assistente chirurgico in chirurgia cardiotoracica, mentre di sera sono titolare di una piccola impresa.

CustomCableCo è un'attività individuale che si svolge al piano superiore di casa mia. Ho avviato questa attività online per la mia passione per le tastiere e, in generale, per tutto ciò che riguarda la tecnologia. Mi sono reso conto di quanto fosse difficile trovare cavi personalizzati per tastiere meccaniche che fossero sempre disponibili. Di solito, quando mi imbattevo in un'azienda produttrice di cavi, questa organizzava solo acquisti di gruppo e non riuscivo mai ad approfittarne in tempo. Volevo cambiare questa situazione.

Un giorno decisi di cimentarmi nella creazione di cavi per tastiera. Il primo fine settimana in cui provai, la mia fidanzata (ora moglie) mi suggerì di metterne in vendita alcuni su Etsy. Non avevo mai usato Etsy prima e lei mi aiutò a mettere insieme il negozio. Quel primo fine settimana ricevetti 15 ordini. Ero sbalordito. Non potevo credere che la gente volesse acquistare i miei oggetti fatti a mano. E quello fu solo l'inizio.

A distanza di oltre sei anni, ho ridotto il mio tempo lavorativo principale per dedicarmi completamente a CustomCableCo. Sono ogni giorno stupito dal successo e dalla continuità di questa attività. Sono estremamente grato a tutti coloro che mi hanno aiutato a iniziare e ai clienti che mi sono rimasti fedeli e continuano a tornare per ordinare cavi personalizzati.

Mi impegnerò sempre a fornire prodotti di eccellente qualità a un prezzo accessibile. Guardo con entusiasmo al futuro e alla crescita di CustomCableCo. Grazie a tutti per tutto quello che avete fatto!

My name is Mathew and I live in Northwest Arkansas. I am a Surgical First Assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery during the day and small business owner by night.

CustomCableCo is a one man operation in the upstairs of my home. I started this online business because of my passion for keyboards and really, all things tech. I noticed how hard it was to find custom cables for mechanical keyboards that were consistently available to people. Usually when I came across a cable company, they would only do group buys and I never seemed to catch them in time. I wanted to change that.

One day I decided I was going to try my hand at making some of these keyboard cables. My first weekend attempting, my fiancé (wife now) told me I should list some I had for sale on Etsy. I had never used Etsy before and she helped me somewhat throw the store together. That first weekend I had 15 orders. I was shocked. I couldn't believe that people wanted to buy my handmade items. This was only the beginning.

Fast forward over 6 years later and I have went part time at my day-job to focus on CustomCableCo. I am shocked everyday with the success and continuance of this business. I am extremely grateful to all that have helped me get started and to the customers who have stuck by me and continue to return for more custom cables.

I will always strive to provide excellent quality products at an affordable price. I look forward to the things to come and the growth of CustomCableCo. Thank you everyone out there for all you have done!
