Hola... Soy Cal. Si me hubieran dicho hace unos años que iba a hacer miles de felpudos, probablemente me habría reído. Porque todo empezó con eso: una risa.
Solía hacer felpudos divertidos (y a menudo atrevidos) para mis amigos, sin pensar nunca que se convertiría en algo más. Pero entonces, algo cambió. La gente empezó a pedirlos. MUCHA gente. Y me di cuenta de algo: había una necesidad real de felpudos de bienvenida de alta calidad, duraderos y totalmente únicos. Fue entonces cuando nació Customat.
En el corazón de Customat hay algo profundamente personal: cada tapete está hecho a medida, uno por uno, diseñado para llevar un poco de alegría, un poco de humor y, a veces, un poco de travesura a las puertas de las personas. ¿Qué nos motiva? Los mensajes que recibimos de los clientes que nos dicen cuánto significó su tapete para alguien especial, cómo los hizo reír, los hizo sentir reconocidos o incluso les hizo llorar.
¿Y, sinceramente? Algunos de los diseños que nos envían nos hacen reír mucho en el taller. Nos encantan. Por favor, sigan enviándolos. Porque para nosotros, no se trata solo de hacer felpudos. Se trata de hacer sonreír a la gente, puerta por puerta.

Hey… I’m Cal. And if you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be making thousands of doormats, I probably would’ve laughed. Because it all started with just that—a laugh.
I used to make funny (and often cheeky) doormats for my friends, never thinking it would turn into anything more. But then, something changed. People started asking for them. A LOT of people. And I realized something—there was a real need for high-quality, long-lasting, and totally unique welcome mats. That’s when Customat was born.
At the heart of Customat is something deeply personal: every single mat is custom-made, one by one, designed to bring a little joy, a little humor, and sometimes a little bit of mischief to people’s doorsteps. What keeps us going? The messages we get from customers telling us how much their mat meant to someone special—how it made them laugh, made them feel seen, or even brought a tear to their eye.
And honestly? Some of the designs you guys send in crack us up in the workshop—we love it. Please, keep them coming. Because for us, it’s not just about making doormats. It’s about making people smile, one doorstep at a time.
