Frequently asked questions
Is this a physical product?
No. Every item in this shop is a digital download; nothing will be mailed. To download: open etsy.com in a web browser (on a computer, or Safari/Chrome on your phone; downloads don't work inside the Etsy app), sign in with the same account you used to order, click your profile picture at the top right > Purchases and reviews, then click "Download files" next to the order. Etsy's order email also has a "Download files" button.
I can't find my download
Downloads are on the Etsy website, not inside the Etsy app. Open etsy.com in a browser and sign in with the same account you used to order (for example Continue with Apple or Google). Then click your profile picture > Purchases and reviews > Download files next to the order. If you checked out as a guest, use the "Download files" link in Etsy's order email. Still stuck? Message me on Etsy and I'll help you right away.
Can I get a refund?
Because the files are delivered instantly, I cannot accept returns, exchanges or cancellations on digital items, in line with Etsy's policy for digital downloads. If a file is corrupt or not as described, message me within 7 days and I will fix or replace it.
What formats do I get?
Tracing worksheets: one PDF in A4 and one in US Letter (11 pages each: cover, 3 tracing pages, 2 write-it-yourself pages, matching, circle-the-right-one, a Dak colouring page, a certificate, licence + answer key). The 10-kit bundle is one 104-page PDF per paper size. Coloring books: one A4 PDF and one US Letter PDF (cover, how-to page and 20 coloring pages) plus a ZIP of the 20 pages as PNG files for tablet coloring. The exact list is in each listing.
Printing tips
Tracing worksheets: print at 100% scale ("Actual size") on plain A4 or Letter paper so the grids stay true to size. Black and white is fine; the grey trace glyphs are meant to be light. Coloring pages: print with "Fit to page"; 80 gsm paper suits crayons and pencils, 100-120 gsm is better for markers. Any home inkjet or laser printer works. Colours vary slightly between screens and printers.
Can I use these for my business or resell them?
No. Personal use only. You may not resell, share, redistribute or use the artwork in products for sale, print-on-demand shops or commercial branding. Dak Duck is an original character; all rights reserved.
Were these made with AI?
Partly. I design, sketch and direct every piece; AI tools are used for parts of the illustration and layout, then I finish and check every file by hand. Etsy requires this disclosure and I am glad to make it
Do you take custom requests?
Yes. For names, our Custom Chinese Name Tracing listing makes a kit for your child's own Chinese name. For other topics or word lists, click "Request custom order" on the shop page or message me on Etsy and tell me what you need; popular requests become the next set. Replies may be slower from Nov 22 to Nov 29.
