Sono cresciuto in una famiglia mista con una casa piena di fratelli e una sorella. Mio padre faceva sempre aggiunte alla nostra casa, piantava giardini, coltivava orchidee e riparava automobili. L'ho seguito da giovane e sono rimasto stupito dal fatto che potesse costruire qualsiasi cosa.
Ho anche avuto la fortuna di avere due nonne che erano attive nella mia vita. Mia nonna "cucitrice" e mia nonna "cucina". Divertente che non ho mai avuto una nonna a maglia o all'uncinetto... Ho imparato da solo.
Circa 20 anni fa ho preso alcuni ferri da maglia e una matassa di bellissimo filato e ne sono rimasto affascinato. Come mio padre, mi sento come se potessi fare qualsiasi cosa.
Attualmente voglio ispirare altri knitters e uncinetti a fare qualcosa di nuovo e bello. Cerco di scrivere modelli semplici e facili da leggere usando punti comuni per creare oggetti che chiunque sarebbe orgoglioso di indossare o regalare.

I grew up in a blended family with a house full of brothers and a sister. My father was always making additions to our house, planting gardens, growing orchids and fixing cars. I followed him around as a youngster and was amazed that he could build anything.
I was also blessed to have two grandmothers that were active in my life. My "sewing" grandmother and my "cooking" grandmother. Funny that I never had a knitting or crocheting grandmother... I learned on my own.
About 20 years ago I picked up some knitting needles and a skein of beautiful yarn and I was hooked. Like my father, I feel as though I can make anything.
Currently I want to inspire other knitters and crocheters to make something new and beautiful. I try to write simple and easy to read patterns using common stitches to create items that anyone would be proud to wear or give as a gift.
