About Design + Conquer
A commanding fusion of industrial and organic aesthetic, Design + Conquer is best described as a breakaway design faction. Specializing in bespoke garment, millinery, and accessory design for the stage, screen, and private clients, DC drives to design + conquer in a variety of arenas.
All pieces in design + conquer’s newly-launched Sewless collection are made from sustainable and ethically-sourced Portuguese cork fabric. Tabs, slits and scoring are used instead of traditional sewing methods. Sewless is an adventure in removing an element from the garment manufacturing process...generating less waste. The collection was inspired by The New Division's album, Precision, and the need to come up with new ways to responsibly produce garments.
Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Design + Conquer continues to make its mark worldwide. On the stage, screen, or in the pages of Harper's Bazaar, DC's dynamism commands attention in array of contexts. Canadian designer Morgan Mallett reflects her eclectic experience in her varied and unique design activities. With a background in graphic design, illustration and video editing, the multidisciplinary designer is passionate about blurring the boundaries between design disciplines, and charting new aesthetic territory through the use of innovative processes.
