The Ring Keeper was born out of a personal need.
Dhérèse é um mash up do meu primeiro nome (Dawn) e meu nome do meio (Thérèse) depois da minha falecida Nana.
O Guardião do Anel nasceu de uma necessidade pessoal. Meus pais me deram um anel quando me formei na Universidade em 2006. Significou muito para mim. No entanto, sendo a pessoa ativa que sou, rapidamente percebi que muitas vezes estava removendo meu anel para ir ao ginásio, jogar uma rodada de golfe, jogar vôlei ou apenas enquanto nadava no lago.
Esconder meu anel no bolso, minha carteira, ou outros locais aleatórios para mantê-lo seguro nunca me senti seguro o suficiente. Muitas vezes, eu estava preocupado que eu poderia perdê-lo ou arranhá-lo e pensar para mim mesmo ... "Por que não há um pequeno caso que eu possa colocar meus anéis em que mantê-los seguros quando eu preciso tirá-los temporariamente?" Foi quando minha visão do Guardião do Anel me veio à mente.
Com o passar dos anos, muitas vezes pensei sobre o Guardião do Anel; no entanto, eu nunca tive coragem de fazer algo sobre isso ou assumir o risco. Em 2018, tudo mudou! Minha melhor amiga perdeu sua aliança de casamento que ela colocou em sua caixa de óculos de sol enquanto jogava vôlei de praia; minha cunhada mencionou que ela continua deixando seus anéis na casa de seus pais depois de removê-los ao lavar a louça; e então eu notei que meu irmão, que é bombeiro, estava colocando seu anel em um carabina em seu chaveiro quando ele foi trabalhar. Eram todos sinais de que eu precisava fazer algo com a minha ideia!
No Outono de 2019, iniciei o processo de concepção e prototipagem do Ring Keeper. Era importante para mim que fosse elegante, compacto e acessível. Um item que você exibiria alegremente em seu chaveiro ou manteria guardado em segurança em um saco. Em novembro de 2020 vendi meu primeiro Ring Keeper! Estou muito animado por compartilhar minha invenção com todos vocês e espero que a achem tão útil quanto eu!

The Ring Keeper was born out of a personal need. My parents gave me a ring when I graduated from University in 2006. It meant so much to me. However, being the active person I am, I quickly realized that I was often removing my ring to go to the gym, play a round of golf, play volleyball or just while swimming at the lake.
Stashing my ring in my pocket, my wallet, or other random locations to keep it safe never felt safe enough. Often, I was worried that I might lose it or scratch it and would think to myself… “why isn’t there a small case that I can put my rings in that keep them safe when I need to take them off temporarily?” That is when my vision of The Ring Keeper came to mind.
As the years went on, I often thought about the Ring Keeper; however, I never had the courage to do something about it or take the risk. In 2018, everything changed! My best friend lost her wedding band that she placed in her sunglass case while playing beach volleyball; my sister-in-law mentioned that she keeps leaving her rings at her parents’ house after removing them when doing the dishes; and then I noticed that my brother, who is a firefighter, was putting his ring on a carabiner on his key chain when he went to work. These were all signs that I needed to do something with my idea!
In the Fall of 2019, I began the process of designing and prototyping The Ring Keeper. It was important to me that it was classy, compact and affordable. An item you would happily show off on your key chain or keep safely stored in a bag. In November 2020 I sold my first Ring Keeper! I am very excited to be sharing my invention with all of you and I hope you find it as useful as I do!
