Excellent mount. Thankful someone actually thought of this. Someone commented a complaint that it didn’t come with the bolt/nut. Uniquiti’s mount in the box had the nut/bolt. No need to go buy one. Very happy with this purchase.

Worked great. If you ever revise in the future, perhaps consider an option of an ethernet cable entry port on the back of the mount. We have a concrete ceiling ceiling and cables are run in surface mount Wiremold raceways. I ended up using my Dremel to cut a small slot in the back of the mount for cable entry. Thanks.

Solved an important mounting problem, perfect solution!

I had a low voltage plate in the ceiling of my lanai and none of the mounting options included from Ubiquiti for the Unifi U7 Pro Outdoor would work. Well, this is the absolute perfect solution. The U7 Pro is heavy, but I have no worries about this failing. It is the most heavily built 3D printed item I have ever seen. Really great design still allows you to tilt the AP if needed after mounting. That also makes it easy to get to the quickport connector. Very well done.

I needed a Decora insert to accommodate a Starlink cable. I saw this item but didn't need the Keystone ports because I would be using it in a 3-gang box with other ports. The seller readily agreed to modify the piece to eliminate the ports, so my remaining concern was the absence of "light almond" as a color choice. I selected white intending to find light almond paint. The available spray paints don't match, so a paint store mixed a small amount. For future buyers, I'd request a smooth texture if that's important. I had no experience with 3-D printing, and it didn't occur to me that the texture wouldn't match manufactured Decora inserts. From even a short distance the texture isn't noticeable, but in conversation the seller has said that altering the material might have produced a smoother result. All in all, I'm very pleased.

Won’t fit an rj45 connector with a standard boot on. Not even slim low profile ones. Gonna have to go naked connecter which isn’t ideal for outdoor and the sharp bend the wire has to make to plug into the u7 outdoor. Looks like there’s plenty of room to make it wider too. It is what it is. Other than that it seems sturdy and well made.
