Drift & Bloom Photography operates the DriftnBloomStudio shop on Etsy. This Privacy Policy explains how and why I collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you purchase from my shop, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.

Personal Information I Collect

To complete your order, Etsy provides me with certain information that you authorize Etsy to share with me. This may include:

• Your name
• Email address
• Postal address
• Payment confirmation
• Details about the product you ordered
• Messages or other information you send through Etsy

I do not receive or store your complete payment card information. Payments are processed through Etsy’s payment system.

Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

I use your personal information only when necessary to:

• Process, produce, and deliver your order
• Communicate with you about your order
• Provide customer service and resolve disputes
• Maintain records required for tax, accounting, or legal purposes
• Comply with Etsy’s Seller Policy and Terms of Use
• Protect my legal rights and prevent fraud or misuse

Under European data protection law, I rely primarily on the information being necessary to fulfill my contract with you. In some cases, I may also use information to meet a legal obligation or for legitimate business interests, provided those interests do not override your rights.

I do not use Etsy customer information for independent email marketing, and I do not add customers to mailing lists without their express consent.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

I share personal information only when reasonably necessary to complete your order or comply with the law.

Etsy: I share information with Etsy as necessary to operate my shop and comply with Etsy’s policies.

Production partners: I may share your name, shipping address, and order details with Printify and the printing company selected to manufacture and ship your product.

Delivery services: Your information may be provided to postal services, shipping carriers, and customs authorities when necessary to deliver your order.

Service providers: I may use trusted business services for bookkeeping, recordkeeping, or order management. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services.

Legal compliance: I may collect, use, retain, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, tax requirement, or government request; enforce my agreements; prevent fraud; or protect the rights and safety of my customers or others.

I do not sell or rent customer personal information.

International Transfers

I am located in the United States, and my production partners or service providers may also process information outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom.

When you purchase through Etsy, your information may be transferred and processed according to Etsy’s Privacy Policy. Information shared with production partners is limited to what is reasonably necessary to produce and deliver your order.

Data Retention

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide my services and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and Etsy requirements.

Order records may generally be retained for up to seven years where necessary for tax or business recordkeeping. Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymized when reasonably possible.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, including within the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information I hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Restrict or object to certain uses of your information
• Receive a copy of certain information in a portable format
• Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent
• Submit a complaint to your local data protection authority

These rights may be limited where I am legally required to retain information, such as transaction records needed for tax or legal purposes.

For information held directly by Etsy, including account or payment information, you may need to contact Etsy through Etsy’s Help Center.
