Do you offer local pick up if I live nearby?
Absolutely! I am also okay meeting up at a local public space for sales! Just send me a message!
The texture of the engraved item appears different from the pictures?
Since a laser is being used to engrave/cut the wood, the texture and shade can be slightly different depending on the grain of the wood. If you don't believe it is the grain, feel free to send a message and I can help determine if there is an issue.
There are small brown scorch marks on my pieces, what are they?
You are right, they are scorch marks, I do my best to reduce the amount and if necessary, will sand them away before shipping. However, there are cases where I may miss them. If you come across them and don't like the look, you can grab a high grit sandpaper and lightly sand the marks away.
Be careful as you can sand away some of the lasering if you go to deep.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
I don't like to offer returns or exchanges as it adds more complexity to the situation. However, if you send me a message with your order number, I will try my best to work with you to resolve the issue.
If I do discuss options with you and we determine a refund or exchange is the best route for us. The buyer will be responsible for any shipping costs or fees incurred.
