The Story of Evermay
Mi chiamo Jalen e sono il proprietario e l'artista di Evermay Design, un marchio che affonda le sue radici nell'arte della corrispondenza tradizionale e nella fantasia.
Da che ho memoria, le mie più grandi passioni sono sempre state la creatività e le persone. Ho iniziato ad accettare commissioni di design già alle elementari, lavorando per una lunga fila di compagni di classe che volevano poster per fiere scientifiche con scritte a bolle. A 14 anni, realizzavo veri e propri cartelli calligrafici su lavagna per la mia comunità, e a 16 anni vendevo stampe e adesivi all'ingrosso in tutta la mia piccola città.
Dopo la laurea, ho recentemente rilanciato Evermay Design come attività di cartoline acquerellate, spinta dalla convinzione che l'arte possa essere un mezzo per creare un legame autentico tra le persone.
In un'epoca di gratificazione immediata, Evermay celebra la lenta arte della posta tradizionale: un modo antico, da tenere in mano, per dire "Sei nel mio cuore".

My name is Jalen, and I’m the owner and artist behind Evermay Design, a brand rooted in the art of snail mail and whimsy.
For as long as I can remember, my greatest passions have been creativity, and people. I was in elementary school when I began taking design commissions, working through a queue of classmates who wanted bubble-lettered science fair posters. By 14, I was taking real commissions doing calligraphy chalkboard signage for people in my community, and by 16, I was selling prints and stickers wholesale throughout my small town.
After graduating from college, I recently relaunched Evermay Design as a watercolor postcard business—fueled by the belief that art can be a messenger for authentic connection between people.
In an age of instant gratification, Evermay celebrates the slow art of snail mail: an old-fashioned, handheld way to say “You’re on my heart.”
