A proprietária Bridget Duggan criou a Existential Thread Co em outubro de 2021 como um projeto de ancoragem depois de ficar à deriva durante a cobiça. Antes da pandemia, ela passou a maior parte dos últimos 10 anos reservando clubes de música em Boston. Como amante vitalícia da caça ao tesouro, ela transformou sua paixão no combustível da Existential Thead Co. O lema da ETC "Suprimentos para lidar com o fardo da consciência" zomba da existência enquanto presta uma pequena homenagem às experiências que sentimos durante os últimos anos.

Existential Thread Co is retail therapy at its best. Specializing in vintage clothing and home goods and handmade accessories, ETC focuses on curating an experience with items that will make you pause and smile. Attention grabbing pieces with a sense of humor, the glorious verging on tacky and the supremely unique. ETC’s goal is to make you feel connected to something for its beauty and originality, nostalgia or even the mysteriousness that draws us to things. Everything has a story and ETC loves sharing the history whether they be vintage pieces or one of our handmade jewelry pieces.
Owner Bridget Duggan created Existential Thread Co in October of 2021 as an anchoring project after being set adrift during covid. Pre-pandemic she had spent the better part of the last 10 years booking music clubs in Boston. As a lifetime lover of treasure hunting she has turned her passion into the fuel for Existential Thead Co. ETC’s motto “Supplies for coping with the burden of awareness” pokes fun at existence while paying a little homage to the experiences we felt during the past few years.
