How to unzip a folder/file on Windows?
Double-click the zip file to display the contents in a File Explorer window.
Click “Extract all”.
Select a folder to unzip to. (If you want to place the unzipped files in another location, click “Browse…” on the right side of the window, then click the name of the folder in which you want to store the unzipped folder. Click “Select Folder”).
Click “Extract”.
How to unzip a folder/file on Mac?
When you unzip a file, the contents will be extracted to the same folder as the zip file. If you want to extract the contents somewhere else, you can copy the zip folder to a different location before unzipping.
Double-click the zip folder. Its contents will be unzipped to a new folder within the current folder. When it is done, you will see the folder containing your files.
How to unzip a folder/file on iPhone/iPad?
Open the Files app.
Tap the folder in which your file is located to open it.
Tap the zip file. This will create a new folder with the contents of the zip file.
Tap the folder to open it.
How to unzip a folder/file on Android?
Open the “Files” app. If you do not have the Google official “Files” app, you will need to install it, since Android devices use different “Files” apps, and some of them may not be able to unzip files.
On the “Files” app, tap “Browse”. Then select the folder that contains the zip file.
Tap the zip file. It will open a pop-up, showing what is inside the file.
Tap “Extract”. If you want to delete the zip file after unzipping it, check the "Delete zip file" box.
Tap “Done”. The contents of the zip file are now extracted to the current folder.
