FliteWallet nació en 2014 como muchas buenas ideas de aviación: después de un vuelo, compartiendo anécdotas con una cerveza. Tres pilotos y amigos —un profesional de la aviación a tiempo completo con la mayor cantidad de títulos (CFII, MEI, A&P IA), un ingeniero aeronáutico excepcional con la certificación CFII y un tipo con una buena idea— se propusieron crear algo simple y significativo: una cartera que capturara la esencia de volar sin dejar de ser práctica para el uso diario.
Inspirada en la complejidad de las cartas seccionales VFR y fabricada con la durabilidad del Tyvek, la FliteWallet se abrió camino en los bolsillos traseros de toda la comunidad aeronáutica, llevando no solo tarjetas y dinero en efectivo, sino también un recordatorio de la libertad, la aventura y el privilegio de volar.
Tras varios años de éxito, la marca renació en manos de un entusiasta de los viajes y explorador del mundo; no era piloto de profesión, pero se sintió atraído por la aviación gracias a sus amistades y a un amor compartido por el movimiento, el descubrimiento y el diseño práctico.
Hoy, FliteWallet continúa su andadura con la misma idea central: llevar la sencillez inspirada en la aviación a la vida cotidiana, al tiempo que expande su historia más allá de la cabina de mando a cualquier persona atraída por los viajes, la exploración y la sensación de ir a algún lugar.

FliteWallet started back in 2014 the way many good aviation ideas do: post-flight, sharing stories over a beer. Three pilots and friends – a full-time aviation professional with the most letters: CFII, MEI, A&P IA, a remarkable aeronautical engineer with a CFII, and a goon with a good idea. They set out to create something simple and meaningful: a wallet that captures the spirit of flying while staying practical for everyday carry.
Inspired by the intricacy of VFR sectional charts and built with the durability of Tyvek, FliteWallet found its way into back pockets across the aviation community, carrying not just cards and cash, but also a reminder of freedom, adventure, and the privilege of flying.
After several successful years, the brand found new life in the hands of a travel enthusiast and world explorer – not a pilot by trade, but drawn to aviation through friendships and a shared love of movement, discovery, and practical design.
Today, FliteWallet continues its journey with the same core idea – bringing aviation-inspired simplicity to everyday life – while expanding its story beyond the cockpit to anyone drawn to travel, exploration, and the feeling of going somewhere.
