Hola, soy Kelly, la creadora de Flying Things.
Desde que tengo memoria, me han atraído las pequeñas maravillas que a menudo pasan desapercibidas: mariposas revoloteando por un jardín, polillas reuniéndose alrededor de la luz del porche, plumas encontradas en un paseo, conchas de caracol escondidas bajo las hojas y todos esos pequeños detalles que hacen que el mundo parezca un poco más mágico.
Lo que empezó como un amor por la naturaleza y la creación con mis manos se convirtió poco a poco en Flying Things. Desde 2012, elaboro a mano mariposas, polillas y otras criaturas voladoras de papel para hogares, celebraciones, aulas, guarderías, bodas y para cualquiera que desee añadir un toque mágico a su espacio.
Cada pieza está hecha a mano en nuestra casa de Florida y se crea por encargo. Como pequeña empresa familiar —y madre ocupada de tres hijos— he aprendido que los pequeños detalles suelen ser los que más impactan. Una mariposa sobre una cuna. Polillas trepando por una estantería. Unas alas de papel danzando sobre una mesa de fiesta. Estos pequeños detalles tienen la capacidad de convertir espacios comunes en lugares inolvidables.
Espero que mis criaturas voladoras aporten un poco de belleza, curiosidad y magia cotidiana a tu hogar.

Hello, I'm Kelly—the creator behind Flying Things.
For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to the little wonders that often go unnoticed: butterflies drifting through a garden, moths gathering around a porch light, feathers found on a walk, snail shells tucked beneath leaves, and all the tiny details that make the world feel a bit more magical.
What began as a love of nature and creating things with my hands slowly grew into Flying Things. Since 2012, I've been handcrafting paper butterflies, moths, and other flying creatures for homes, celebrations, classrooms, nurseries, weddings, and anyone looking to add a little extra wonder to their space.
Every piece is made by hand in our Florida home and created to order. As a small family business—and a busy boy mom to three sons—I've learned that the smallest details often leave the biggest impressions. A butterfly above a crib. Moths climbing a bookshelf. A handful of paper wings dancing across a party table. These little touches have a way of turning ordinary spaces into places people remember.
