I started my shop because I was sick and tired of all the chemicals and additives in EVERYTHING. It was impossible to find REAL products that weren't filled with garbage.
The more I learned about specific ingredients, the more I realized that everyone was pulling the wool over our eyes when it came to our beauty products. It's a billion dollar industry and they plan to keep it that way. I want to spread the word! You don't have to compromise your face and skin; you only have one life so live it well.
I love learning about homesteading and going back to our roots. I want to help people slow down and appreciate the little things in life; like super soft hats made from hand spun fiber and the satisfaction that you get from doing things for yourself.
I started this shop to share the natural and organic recipes that I tried for myself; things that were hand made and not pumped out in a factory.
I get as many of my ingredients from local sources as I can and make sure that there is NOTHING fake in every item. I hope to soon transition to completely Vermont sourced ingredients and now only use Shea Butter from a fair trade, women owned business in Ghana. Everything else is gathered/created in USA.
Switching to natural whole products and fibers can change the way you see the world and how you live in your body. It has totally changed my life for the better.
