Where it started!
Hola, mi nombre es Vicky y soy la orgullosa propietaria de las tarjetas Get Out of Anything.
Soy madre, esposa, hija, hermana, amiga y sobreviviente de cáncer y este negocio de tarjetas divertido y atrevido surgió después de mi propio diagnóstico de cáncer en 2021.
Durante y después de mis 3 años de quimioterapia, terapia hormonal, radioterapia, quimioterapia preventiva y múltiples cirugías, como muchos de nosotros, encontré en el humor negro la mejor manera de lidiar con todo.
“Sacar” la carta del cáncer para librarme de cosas que no quería hacer me dio la idea de crear una carta física propia.
Después de algunos diseños, esta tarjeta especial se convirtió en la tarjeta dorada que ves hoy.
Las solicitudes de condiciones diferentes significan que ahora tengo una cartera de alrededor de 80 tarjetas y variaciones.
Al igual que con todas estas tarjetas, no se trata de menospreciar la condición/enfermedad, sino de darle al propietario de la tarjeta un poco de humor negro en tiempos difíciles.
Únase a mí mientras navegamos a través de los desafíos que la vida nos pone en el camino, encontrando algo de luz en la sombra, una pequeña sonrisa y una pizca de diversión para hacer que los tiempos sean un poco más llevaderos en esos días más difíciles.

Hi my name is Vicky and I am the proud owner of Get Out of Anything cards.
I am a mum, wife, daughter, sister, friend and cancer survivor and this fun and cheeky card business came about following my own cancer diagnosis in 2021.
During and after my 3 years of chemotherapy, hormone therapy, radiotherapy, preventative no chemo and multiple surgeries I like lots of us found dark humour the best way of dealing with it all.
“Pulling” the cancer card to get out of things I didn’t want to do gave me the idea to made a physical one of my own!
After a few designs this special card then turned into the Gold card you see today
Requests for different conditions now mean I have a portfolio of around 80 cards and variations.
As with all of these cards it is not to belittle the condition/disease just to give the owner of the card a little dark humour in difficult times.
Join me as we navigate through challenges life puts in our way - finding some light in the shade, a little smile and a sprinkle of fun to make times little more bearable on those harder days.
