¡Bienvenidos a Golden Revolver Games! Mi nombre es Chloe y mi compañero Dave y yo creamos fiestas originales de misterio y asesinato.
Empezamos a crear juegos de misterio tras organizar una fiesta familiar de Nochevieja durante el confinamiento por la COVID-19. Nos encantó; nos transportó al pasado y nos brindó la evasión y el glamour que necesitábamos. Decidimos compartir esa evasión con otros. Creemos que los juegos de misterio son divertidísimos porque te transportan a otro mundo y porque unen a las personas para interactuar de una forma novedosa. ¡Crear estos juegos se ha convertido en nuestra obsesión!
En 2022, creamos nuestro primer juego de misterio de asesinato desde cero: "Fright at the Museum". Concebimos los personajes, inventamos sus secretos y relaciones, e ideamos el misterio. Desde entonces, hemos creado muchos más juegos juntos, desde la comodidad de nuestro sofá después de nuestras jornadas laborales. Cada juego de misterio de asesinato nos lleva más de 3 meses, ya que dibujamos a mano cada personaje, escribimos cada palabra desde cero, dibujamos cada pista y diseñamos cuidadosamente la apariencia de nuestros juegos. Disfrutamos mucho creando nuestros juegos juntos y nos enorgullecemos de la calidad de cada uno; no usamos IA en ningún caso, ni lo haremos.
Siempre nos han encantado las novelas de misterio y asesinatos, y nos atraen especialmente las historias en las que se puede empatizar con el asesino hasta cierto punto. También llevo escribiendo historias desde que tengo memoria. Por eso disfruto tanto escribiendo historias ricas. Queremos crear personajes interesantes con una historia de fondo completa para que el motivo sea creíble y cautivador. A Dave le apasionan los rompecabezas y los juegos, así que, aunque haya pistas falsas y distracciones, ¡puedes estar seguro de que tendrás todas las herramientas para deducir quién es el asesino!

Welcome to Golden Revolver Games! My name is Chloe, and my partner Dave and I create original murder mystery parties.
We started creating murder mysteries after throwing a New Year's Eve murder mystery party for our families during the Covid lockdown. We all enjoyed it so much; it transported us back in time and provided the escapism and glamour we all needed. We decided we wanted to bring that escapism to others. We believe that murder mystery games are so much fun as they allow you to be transported to another world, and because they bring people together to interact in a novel way. Creating these games has become our joint obsession!
In 2022 we created our first murder mystery from scratch; ‘Fright at the Museum’. We dreamed up the characters, invented their secrets and relationships and devised the mystery. Since then, we've made many more games together, from the comfort of our sofa after our day jobs. Each murder mystery game takes us upwards of 3 months to make as we hand draw every character, write every word from scratch, draw every clue and carefully design the look and feel of our games. We really enjoy creating our games together and take pride in the quality of each one - we don't use AI in any capacity nor will we.
We have always loved murder mystery novels and are most drawn to the stories where you can empathise with the murderer to a degree. I have also been writing stories for as long as I can remember. This is why I take so much pleasure in writing a rich story. We want to create interesting characters with a full backstory so that the motive is believable and compelling. Dave has a passion for puzzles and games, so whilst there are red herrings and distractions, you can be sure that you will have all the tools to deduce who the murderer is!
