Más pesados y mejores para el medio ambiente que el epoxi o el jesmonite, estos moldes están hechos de piedra de agua, también conocida como yeso dental/de ortodoncia. Yeso súper fuerte, pero obviamente se astillará o las extremidades pequeñas pueden romperse si lo dejas caer sobre algo más duro como el hormigón o el mármol. Las ediciones limitadas están doradas en casa a mano por mí en un taller de una sola persona. El dorado al agua incluye 4-6 capas previas de sellador y arcilla fundida o bole y un adhesivo, luego el dorado se realiza con hojas sueltas de oro o plata y luego se agrega una capa superior. O, a veces, en pequeñas tiradas, haré un deslumbramiento y brillo en los moldes, y también están disponibles en bruto si simplemente te gusta el acabado de piedra de agua natural, tengo alabastro, marrón dorado, dorado, terracota y cualquier cantidad de diseños de polvo de mica y se aplican varias técnicas de jaspeado, ¡pero si tienes ganas de experimentar y tienes algo en mente, no dudes en contactarme!
Las estatuas curvas de 8” pesan alrededor de 4 libras, por lo que son muy pesadas y te sobrevivirán fácilmente, pero como son arte pop, deben tratarse como arte y mantenerse limpias y sin dejarlas caer, en un lugar elegante de tu casa o departamento.

Heavier and better for the environment than epoxy or jesmonite, these castings are made from water stone aka dental/orthodontic plaster. Super strong plaster but will obviously chip or small limbs can break if you drop it on something harder like concrete or marble. The limited editions are gilded in house by hand by me in a one-human shop. Water gilding includes 4-6 precoats of sealer and fond or bole clay and an adhesive then gilding is done using loose leaf gold or silver leaf then a top coat is added. Or sometimes in small runs I’ll do a bedazzling and glitter the castings, and they’re also available in raw if you just like the natural water stone finish, I have alabaster, golden brown, golden, terra cotta, and any number of mica powder designs and various marbling techniques are applied but if you feel like playing around and have something in mind feel free to reach out!
8” curvy statues weigh around 4lbs so they’re very hefty and will outlive you easily but as they’re pop art need to be treated as art and keep it clean and undropped, in a stylish spot of your home or apartment!
