Soy Kay, calígrafa y orgullosa propietaria de Calligraphy by KayW (Est. 2014).
De pequeña, nunca imaginé que haría algo tan creativo. Mi pasión por la caligrafía comenzó en la universidad. Quería aprender una nueva habilidad y me topé con esta cita:
“Empieza hoy, porque dentro de un año te lo agradecerás”.
Esa frase se me quedó grabada. Tomé una pluma caligráfica y comencé a practicar todos los días en mi residencia, y ahí empezó todo.
Lo que más me inspira son las conexiones significativas, la naturaleza y la forma en que el amor se puede compartir a través de artículos especiales y regalables. Cada pieza que creo está hecha a mano, con cuidado, dedicación y atención al detalle, ya sea caligrafía, grabado o algo completamente personalizado.
Al igual que muchos propietarios de pequeñas empresas, hago todas las funciones: calígrafo, fotógrafo, diseñador, empaquetador, comercializador y controlador de calidad, pero no lo cambiaría por nada del mundo.

I’m Kay, the calligrapher and proud owner of Calligraphy by KayW (Est. 2014).
As a little girl, I never imagined I’d be doing something so creative. My passion for calligraphy began while I was a university student- I wanted to learn a new skill and came across the quote:
“Start today, because a year from now you’ll thank yourself.”
That line stayed with me. I picked up a calligraphy pen and began practicing every single day from my halls of residence, and that’s where it all began.
What inspires me most is meaningful connections, nature, and the way love can be shared through thoughtful, giftable items. Each piece I create is crafted by hand, with care, time, and attention to detail, whether it’s handwritten calligraphy, engraving, or something completely bespoke.
Like many small business owners, I wear every hat — calligrapher, photographer, designer, packer, marketer, and quality checker, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
