El arte es una oportunidad para ver en el alma de alguien. La aventura alimenta esa alma con inspiración, paz y perspectiva. A medida que exploro el mundo natural y sus muchas maravillas increíbles, debo recordarme a mí mismo que no todos tienen la oportunidad de sentir como yo siento, ver lo que puedo ver. Este desafío es inspiración en sí mismo.

Varias de mis aventuras involucran kayak por los ríos y lagos de Adirondack. En uno de esos viajes, hice kayak y acampé solo en el río Oswegatchie durante varios días, realmente me sentí en paz. No hay un día que no pase que no sienta el calor del viaje. Un momento de libertad. Escuchar a los coyotes en la distancia, ver a los castores haciendo sus carreras de salvamento o ver nadar a un ciervo buck, todos estos momentos no tienen precio para mí. Es mi deseo compartirlos, con la esperanza de que todos podamos conectarnos con la tierra de maneras que hemos olvidado hace mucho tiempo.

Espero que mi fotografía de naturaleza y vida silvestre pueda atraer a otros al bosque o a los ríos. Espero que inspire al niño dentro de cada uno de nosotros a mirar debajo de las rocas y jugar en los árboles.

Art is an opportunity to see into someone's soul. Adventure feeds that soul with inspiration, peace, and perspective. As I explore the natural world and it's many amazing wonders, I must remind myself that not all have opportunity to feel as I feel, see what I may see. This challenge is inspiration in and of itself.

Several of my adventures involve kayaking up Adirondack rivers and lakes. On one such journey I kayaked up and camped alone on the Oswegatchie River for several days, I truly felt at peace. There is not a day that does not pass that I do not feel the warmth of the trip. Such a moment of freedom. Hearing coyotes in the distance, watching beavers doing their salvaging runs, or watching a buck deer swim--all of these moments are priceless to me. It is my desire to share them, in the hopes that we may all connect to the earth in ways we have long since forgotten.

I hope that my nature and wildlife photography may pull others into the woods, or onto the rivers. I hope it will inspire the child inside of each of us to peer under the rocks and to play in the trees.
