How Hightanium Design came to be
In 2015 werd een vriend van ons gediagnosticeerd met Non-Hodgkins lymfoom en hij was zichzelf aan het mediteren voor de pijn. Op dat moment werkten we op medisch gebied aan het maken van prototypes voor ophthamologie en hadden we veel CP (commercieel zuiver) titanium bij de hand. Hij benaderde ons over de mogelijkheid om een pijp van titanium te maken en de eerste "Outlaw" werd gemaakt.
Alle pijpnamen, afgezien van de Bamboo, een idee dat ons door een klant werd gebracht, zijn allemaal namen van de skipistes in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Back in 2015 a friend of ours was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and he was medicating himself for the pain. At the time, we were working in the medical field creating prototypes for Ophthamology and had a lot of CP (commercially pure) titanium on hand. He approached us about the possibility of creating a pipe out of titanium and the first "Outlaw" was created.
All of the pipe names aside from the Bamboo, which was an idea brought to us by a customer, are all names of the ski runs in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
